No, we don't charge late fees!
If you see a charge on your account, it's actually a replacement fee for what we presume is a lost item. The replacement fee is only applied once an item is two weeks overdue. We send out "almost due" and "overdue" reminders well before an item is two weeks overdue. Once you return all overdue or "Lost" items, the replacement fee is removed, your library card will be in good standing, and you can again check out library materials. If you have really and truly lost an item, you will need to pay the replacement fee before you can check out additional items.
Please bring overdue items directly to staff at the Check-Out Desk so that we can ensure the items are removed from your account.
