Sno-Isle Libraries has many resources for people seeking employment. Please visit our web page for Job Seekers. To search for job listings, try the following two databases. (Both require that you have a library account.)
1. To use AtoZdatabases, click on the “Find a Job” box to search by Title, Keywords, or Business name. AtoZdatabases partners with Indeed.com. In addition to job postings, you can learn more about a potential employer by linking to a company profile. This jobs database also contains résumé templates, personality tests and preparation guides for the interview.
2. Job&Career Accelerator also provides searchable job listings. On that database’s welcome page, click on the link to “Search for Jobs and Internships”. You must register for a free account within this database. Besides searching for job postings, this database provides resume and cover letter assistance, career exploration & guidance, and instructional videos.
Other resources: Sno-Isle Libraries also offers a networking group, various classes, and one-on-one help for job seekers. To find out more, go to our events calendar and enter the keyword “job” in the search box.
A great organization to connect with is WorkSource which has offices in Everett, Lynnwood, and Monroe, and Whidbey Island. They provide an array of services to match employers with job seekers.
