Thanks for asking! Library on Wheels brings Sno-Isle Libraries services to members of our community who face challenges getting to the library. Library on Wheels offers four different types of service:
- Our Bookmobile takes the library, and a diverse collection of materials for all ages, to rural and isolated communities.
- Our Childcare program brings both bi-monthly early literacy storytime programs and a monthly delivery of books to licensed childcare centers, Head Starts, and Early Childhood Education Assistance Programs (ECEAPS). http://www.sno-isle.org/childcare/
- Our Carthauler carries a selection of library materials to retirement homes and care facilities, allowing the residents to select and checkout their own materials. http://www.sno-isle.org/outreach/
- Our Outreach program serve homebound patrons and senior housing and care facilities through a service that involves both the selection and delivery of library materials on a monthly basis.
Library on Wheels provides these services throughout Snohomish and Island Counties, except for the cities of Everett and Woodway. If you are interested in learning more about these services, please contact:

If you are interested in obtaining library service from the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library, services are available to all Washington state residents who are unable to read standard print due to a variety of conditions. Applications are available in any Sno-Isle community library or online.
